What is thought-focus ?

Going from actionlessness within breath- & thought-control, one focusses the mind on ‘one’ thing (breath, an object, the bright-white-light, etc.) only. When breathing-in, imagine like a beaming light wave & when breathing-out, let it enter your mind (approximately at the forehead) sweeping it downwards over your body. With open eyelids that now are shut one searches 4 a rhythm between the breathing & the sweeping. Visualizations are important though as important are emotions, emotions mingling with the concentrated thought. A conscious withdrawal of the senses in concentration of thought going over into a unity of thought & emotion is rhythm. Intruding & distracting thoughts must be abandoned right-away. From actionlessness within breathcontrol towards focused thinking one plunges into thoughtlessness.
