Action versus the Separate Self.

Action is karma, movement or work.
Action mainly consists of the body doing work
& since we identify ourselves wrongly with our body,
we think we have done the chores or the work.

We identify with the tools & think they
are us & therefore believe we have done the job.
We identify ourselves with our actions & enjoy the
results with our attached state of mind. We feel
temporary joys & sorrows exactly because we
identify ourselves with the tools & the work.

A sage or any wise person,
because he does nothing, he never
ruins anything & because he does not lay
hold of anything, he therefore loses nothing.
Remove the sense of enjoyment & doer-ship from
the action & you’ll perform the purest of actions –
Actionless actions in Actionlessness.
