Those who
study daily increase.
Those who practice the tao
daily diminish.

Those who study daily increase
their worldly knowledge & attachment.
Those who practice the tao daily, meaning, those
who meditate daily, diminish their worldly attachment,
knowledge & striving nature, compulsive
actions & thinking.

All because
the presence of worldly affairs,
knowledge, desires, striving & compulsive
thinking are obstacles in meditation, that make it
impossible 2 seize, apprehend & comprehend
anything beyond worldliness.

Those who study daily
increase the ego, desires & attachment.
Those who practice meditation are actionless
& through their actionlessness there’s nothing
not done 4 they are able 2 grasp, both mentally
& physically All under Heaven.

(inspired by Tao Te Tjing chapter 48)
